review 1: Edge of Sight ( the Guardian Angelino's, book 1) by Roxanne St Claire I absolutely loved this book, it was the first of the series and the first one I read. Zach a special forces veteran is back from his last tour when he runs into the only women he can't stop thinking about...Samantha Fairchild. They had some wild sex in the past and Zach left without a word, Sam should hate him but she can't...she loves him . Zach wanted nothing to do with Sam because of his injuries from his last tour of duty he doesn't want her pity or ruin her future by being with him, but he can't turn her away. Sam's looking for Vivi ( Zach's sister) for help. She is being followed and threatened by a unknown source that will stop at nothing until shes dead. Zach wants to help Sam and protect her,... more but what he doesn't count on is remembering their time together or the feelings he still has for her. This book has a lot of action and very hot sex scenes. Love Zach, he is a tough as nails, hot as sin tough guy who can't come to terms with his injury but can't stay away fromSam. Love love love this book. 5 stars
review 2: I loved this little prequel. I was already three-quarters of the way through "Edge of Sight" when the author pointed out to me that it was on her website and asked if I had read it. Everything that happens in it had been alluded to in the book and I already knew what happened, but I really loved having the scene fleshed out and getting a chance to read it in detail. I'm glad I was lucky enough to have her point it out to me and I didn't miss it completely. less
