review 1: With This Ring, I Thee Dread is a great comedy romance. Ryan Jackson, a successful advertising company was threatened to marry his nemesis, Elizabeth Valentine and spend four months honeymoon in a remote Alaskan cabin. Their parents believe that Ryan and Elizabeth would soon fall for each other by placing the two in a cabin alone.I love the interaction between the characters, Ryan and Elizabeth. Most of them are cute and hilarious! I am glad that the characters’ relationship was not build on hot, steamy scene like I usually see in most books. But instead, I get to see lots of bickering between Ryan and Elizabeth (which is mostly funny) and see them to get to know each other through conversations. Through these conversations, the characters slowly changed as they begin to... more understand each other more.Despite its not-so-attractive cover, With This Ring, I Thee Dread is a fun, light and cute read on arrange marriage. I really enjoy reading this a lot.
review 2: This is the first e-book I've read by Ruth Ann Nordin, and I'm looking forward to reading more of her work. I totally enjoyed it. Unlike many romance novels today that are more soft core pornography, Ms. Nordin's books are sensitive well written stories with beautiful characters you can fall in love with, page by page, no padding needed. She had me hooked by the first chapter. As a self-published writer and editor of my own small press, I highly recommend "With This Ring I Thee Dread". It's romantic comedy at its best. Think Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves! Hint: Any Movie Producers out there? I give "With this Ring I Thee Dread" Five Well-Deserved Stars! less
