review 1: Lo he pasado muy bien. Tragicomedia de enredo en la que una abuela y su nieta viajan de Israel a Varsovia para recuperar una vieja propiedad familiar perdida tras la ocupación alemana. Los secretos de familia hacen acto de presencia. La trama está hilada con mucha gracia, hay personajes muy bien construidos como la abuela cascarrabias o ese amigo de la familia que "casualmente" se encuentran (un personaje mezquino que, ay, merece mayor castigo). Muy entretenido y narrado con habilidad con la línea clara no puntillosa de su autora.

Not by chance, Regina comes on her own to the same cafe' to meet an old man who lives in the building. Yes, Mica's grandfather. While the purpose of the trip is to assert Regina's title to a building her parents had owned, what develops is an intrafamilial tiff, an ultimately fulfilling reunion, and the possible start of a romance. less
