review 1: Wealthy Manhattan attorney and runner, Ben Silver, dies of a heart attack during a run and leaves his widow, Georgia Waltz, penniless. WTF?!? She and her two spoiled,privileged daughters must downsize, sell the jewelry, and learn to work and survive by using their wits. Meanwhile they struggle to uncover the secrets their husband & father left that cause the new, harsh reality. The ending is a tad unbelievable, a mon avis.
review 2: Just occasionally I stumble across an author who really pays attention and gives detail to her women female lead characters. Sally Koslow is one of those authors. It was refreshing to read such an approach to linking reader and characters. The book spans a lifetime in just a few pages, dipping into historic matters and present conce
... morerns. It addresses the grieving process not only for a widow, but the children left behind and anyone else along the way who might be impacted. Strongly reccomend! less
