review 1: 4 stars. Ok once again, another book from one of my favorite authors. I always enjoy a book with lycan, so sexy and erotic. This story was so interesting, how a lycan waited for his mate until she was older a little experience in life. This story felt really good. All the characters really worked together. I couldn't stand Misty and her sister; But finally at then the King received his Queen with open arms. Bravo to Sam Crescent. Please write a book about "Cade".
review 2: I hope I'm correct in assuming that SC is going to be making this book into a series , as where the stories left off has me craving for more.Charlotte is a 20 year old naive and quite frankly very innocent young woman, her parent's have sheltered her througout her life, and while she'... mores excelled at studies, she hasn't done so well with her peers, she's insecure because she's plus size and she is regullary ridiculed by her older Sister Kim. Kim (who only plays a part in the beginning of the story as a launching pad) , mistreats Charlotte using the girls good heart and trust against her to seek her own gain.Guilting and goading Charlotte into going to the local Redrock bar, they arrive only to have Charlotte hauled off and "babysat" by the bartender while Kim goes to get her groove on.Charlotte is clueless that she's surrounded by shapeshifters, she doesn't even know they exist and when she's suddenly put in danger and forced into a situation that would drastically change her life, she doesn't know what to do.Micah is the Alpha of the Redrock pack and he is goaded into "claiming" the innocent young "human" woman in order to save her life... he is determined to have Charlotte in his life, but wants her to come to him. The Question is, will she? Misunderstanding, danger, jealous ex she-wolves with agenda's of their own,a Second in command who isn't afraid to speak his mind and has a wicked tattoo, an Alpha male who is both possesive and lovestruck, and a confused heroine who is turned on by her mate. Sam, if you read this review... I'm anticipating Cade and Titiana's story, don't tease us for too long! less
