review 1: Lyla and her band have been signed to TMS records and are about to embark on a tour with several other bands. When their tour manager backs out at the last minute, Jake Wethers (sigh) has Tom Carter fill in as tour manager for them. Lyla can’t believe HE will be stuck with her on a tour bus! He is a total dog, a “mut” as she calls him, a man-slut. He will be hitting on her the entire tour and bring several girls at a time onto the bus. It will be a long six weeks.Tom had made a promise. He would clean up his act and not be a man whore if God would save his best friend’s girlfriend and baby. God came through so Tom is trying to be a better person. When Jake asked him to help him out by going back on the road for six weeks, how could he turn him down? Jake had been t... morehrough so much and if this would help him out, it was the least he could do. Plus he is attracted to Lyla, even though he knows it is a horrible idea.As the tour progresses and Lyla and Tom move into a friend zone, the feelings that Lyla has for him are a lot more than friends. What is really eating at her though is that Tom hasn’t really been flirting with her like she would have expected him to. When she sees women talking and flirting with Tom what really starts to bother her is the jealousy she feels toward those actions. What has happened to change these feelings she has for him and while they are friends, why does she suddenly want so much more. I loved all The Mighty Storm books and Jake is in my top 5 BBF. Tom is such an interesting guy and it was wonderful to hear his story. Thanks for another great book. 4.5 stars
review 2: The hit sex was 4 stars, but everything else was stupid. Wishy washy heroine who gives in easily in every way that makes her cheap and easy (yuck!), a dominant but pussy ass hero who tends to be FREQUENTLY callous and needlessly cruel with pathetic reasons for it... Just yuck all the way. Didn't like much of anything about this crappy book but that's because I hated the plot and heroes. Hot sex is about the only redeeming feature. less
