review 1: Wow. I usually don't try new authors without checking Goodreads first, but something about Viking Angels made me temporarily insane and I bought this. Big, big, big mistake. On the heels of reading Meljean Brook's brilliant "Guardian" series, I felt soiled by this silly, pedantic, uninspired tripe. It's like the publishing house hired someone and said "I want Vikings, yeah...and vampires...ooh, Angels too! We gotta have a castle, Amish are hot right now...work them in. Oh, need drama so add a crime lord! Yeah, that's it! Wait!!! My mom might read this...no premarital sex!! But we need sex, so....near sex, yeah! That'll do it!" (The one star goes to me, for failing to delete the book after the first chapter)
review 2: Viking.....vampire....ang... moreels.... Like wtf did I allowed to be inputted into my brain. That has to be the cheesiest thing I've read in a long long time. I can not express the disappointment I felt every time this had to be thrown in my brain. I believe that If there was something better that Viking vampire angels maybe just maybe this book would've been better. I know for sure I'm not finishing this series. less
