review 1: Cute and fun are the words I would use to describe this book. It wasn't my very favorite historical but it was sweet and enjoyable. I had a goofy smile on my face most of the time. The hero frustrated me to no end though. I loved Breanne, thought she was just "the cheese". The only thing I didn't really like about his book was some of the vocabulary and references were too ahead of the time. It was a touch distracting but I am a fairly forgiving reader, so it didn't bother me over much.
review 2: Hilarious! Breanne and her sisters find themselves in some trouble so they hie away to Caedmon's keep to sit low. Breanne walks into a keep filled with dirt and smells and children running wild. Caedmon just returned from months of doing his duty to the king and all he
... more wants is some peace and quiet before he settles into getting his keep back in hand. Little does he know that Breanne and her sisters will turn his world upside down. A wonderful adventure with some familiar characters from previous stories. Tyra is one of her sisters and her husband Adam the healer and his assistant Rashid make an appearance along with the sister's father, Thorvald. It was nice revisiting with them. The banter between Caedmon and Breanne had me howling as they found their way into each other's hearts. less
