review 1: It took a while to get going and had some bumps along the way, but had a lot going for it: An appealing, funny male narrator. An interesting variation on the superpowers theme. A good balance of character-building and action. The aforementioned bumps were mostly inconsistencies, some of which were eventually straightened out, but were more distracting than intriguing at the time. My big question is: Where is the sequel we were set up for? That shows I enjoyed it enough to want to find out what happens next, but I'm reluctant to booktalk it unless I can promise there will be a follow-up to all the threads left hanging.

... moreme. only in this story the boy has some superpowered friends to help him out. a girl with some "feline" features, a girl too smart for her own good, a guy who has a habbit of making objects/people disapear before your very eyes, a girl who "sticks" tight to the group. a guy who really needs to "chill". (read the book and discover the irony to my "" marks) less
