review 1: I just finished this book today and I enjoyed it. What I liked about the book the most is it's about a girl who fell for a boy who she swore by her sisters she would never get involved with a boy who had older brothers who broke her sisters heart. and how one summer can change everything. I couldn't put it down because I couldn't resist not knowing if the 2 main characters finally realized the feeling they had for each other!
review 2: I really wanted to like this book and reading the synopsis made me want to love it. And I kind of did. But not really. It had a few funny moments and a whole lot of sad moment which made me emotional but I didn't really feel a connection with Emilio and Jude. You know, the extreme "feels" and the "omg they're holding hands" kind... more of stuff. It was kind of boring. I felt like there was no real depth or development for their relationship. I would give this a lower rating but I like her dad and Pancake.. less
