review 1: I absolutely LOVED this book and indeed the whole series. This one is without doubt the very best of the three books in the series and I am feeling a bit bereft now I have no more to read about Alan, Nick, Mae, Jamie and Sin! The convoluted unravelling of the plot was masterfully constructed and often left me horrified and on the verge of tears having become so invested in the characters and their struggle to do the right thing for everyone. I would recommend the series without reservation to anyone who likes paranormal/romance/fantasy literature. Great stuff!!!
review 2: I really enjoyed the interesting characters, the setting of a magickal Goblin Market within London, and the drama among the story's relationships. That being said, the writing itself was quite
... more droll. The exposition in the beginning was fine, but then the continued descriptions throughout the book were bland and could have used some excitement to fit with the pace of the plot. My favorite part of the book were the brothers, Nick and Alan, and their complex personalities and relationships with the other characters. I think that other readers will also come to love the characters throughout the series and as such will enjoy this latest installment. However, for readers looking for a deep and touching read this is not my go-to YA fantasy romance for them. less

Consistently good series that kept me guessing until the very end how it would all work out.
