review 1: 2 stars I have to admit that, so far, this is my least favorite thing written by Sarah Rees Brennan. Not only did I NOT laugh (out loud or otherwise), I didn't find this funny at all. To me it came across as trying too hard. Way,way too hard. On the plus side, it is a really short story and only takes a few minutes to read. So if you have a few minutes to waste and don't mind crazy jumbled up fairy tales that seems to be on some kind of acid trip, then this is the story for you.
review 2: Cute, humorous short story about a mediocre princess trainee and her hapless accountant escort. I didn't really ever connect to Miles, but I liked Alicia. The unicorns Ethel and Rowena were pretty funny too. The rest of the characters were pretty much humorous stereotype
... mores, described by lots of snarky references to fairy tales. I laughed out loud a time or two. This reminded me of somewhere between the snark of a Naomi Novak unicorn short story I read and Princess Diaries, but not in a bad way. I can always count on enjoying Sarah Rees Brennan's short stories, it seems. A quick, funny read. less

Short online story, I liked it but I wasn't sure the ending was as HEA as I wanted.

A short story in which unicorns exist...and it was boring.
