review 1: 3.5 StarsI was beyond annoyed with how Lilly was able to box her feelings, forget everything Jeremy had done to her (consistent mental, emotional, physical and sexual abuse), and play the role of doting girlfriend. The trip they took was sickening, with Lilly fawning over him. Yuck. I just can't get on board with her getting turned on by him. At all. Still, I can't wait for book 6 to see what the hell is going on!!! :-)
review 2: The pace and excitement of the story slowed down in the segment. We did learn more about Lilly and Jeremy. Still just a tease.In this story, Lilly decide to become passive so she can get out of the dark and begin her plan of revenge. Jeremy continues to push her buttons. Jeremy introduces her to her father, a complete surprise to Lill... morey. Jeremy takes her to a party. Another test, and someone from Lilly's past shows up. Jeremy shuts her down and they leave the party.I am looking forward to the next segment. less
