review 1: I enjoyed The Mozart Conspiracy as a thriller more than as a historical thriller. From looking at the reviews, I didn't have any expectations as to what the story was about, not even sure I read the blurb actually, just read the book because I had read the first one and thought I'd continue with the series. It read well and was packed with action, and I will sure move on to book three in the future.
review 2: This book is a definite page turner. I did not realize it was the second in the Ben Hope series. But, even starting with Book 2, I did not feel lost in the storyline at all. The plot takes you through present day Europe expertly mixing in old world legend and folklore concerning the death of Mozart and the beginning of the Free Mason Society. There are
... more several plot twists I did not expect, which always makes it more interesting. I thoroughly enjoyed the book and can't wait to pick up Book 1. less
