review 1: An AWESOME second to the start of this series. Not quite as heavy as the first book but you can tell that it's gearing up for bad times to come. Plots are revealed, and we learn more about the Alluthans and where they came from at the end. Kinda scares the shit out of you when you hear how many ships they had and a few hundred years ago and then thinking about how long they had to create more. More is reveled about the 'New Order', my brain is still trying to figure out who is the head and what's more if they are 'Human' or if they are somehow controlled by the Alluthans. So a bit of a downer at the end but Oh-My-Gosh, I laughed so hard when reading this book! Skeeter is so hysterical in almost everything that she does, and I Loved reading about the bar fight that she star... moreted, all by accidentally knocking over someones drink. Ok, it was a flaming drink, but it was still a accident. It's made even funnier when you start to get a scene of her personality and how completely honest and naive she really can be. So, I'm completely hooked on this series and cant wait to read the next one! 5 stars!
review 2: Not my favorite but still a good SF story. We get to know more about Krac or Section K, how he was created and what are his abilities. Didn't think that caring and loving were part of them but they come to define him and his actions. And we meet Skeeter or Lulu Belle. That one is one of the craziest of S.E Smith 's characters ever. But she is so funny and a trouble maker not even realizing it. A great laugh. less
