review 1: This book is a good explanation of the shift that has happened in the economy in the recent years from industrial economy to the connection economy, it teaches how important it is to become an artists and thrive as one. it defines arts as the act of doing our heart yearning shamelessly while embracing the risks of getting exposed as a fraud. it teaches about the lizard brain which steps in anytime someone wants to do an important art, or whenever we want to challenge the status que, it bombards us with the fear talk to keep the status quo intact, but we should overcome this resistance that is part of the human condition.Very motivating book, I recommend it to anyone who wants to take a big step forward.
review 2: Seth Godin pulled into position a lot of dispara
... morete thoughts I'd been having about my own personal art endeavors. I like this book because it is full of insights and encouragement. If you're looking for a how-to book, though, this is not it. In fact, it would be ludicrous considering Godin is all about you finding your own way into art. Your own art has to be discovered in only the way you can discover it. However, he is about encouraging you to discover it, which is what this book does. less
