review 1: A good motivational book to get you starting and finishing something. The main message of the books is: having a good idea is just not enough, you need to take the initiative to implement that idea, and follow through until it gets adopted/rejected by users. Starting on an idea means following through until its either accepted or rejected by users not abandoning it midway. Rejecting is nothing to fear and highly valuable for you to move forward on that idea and for you in general.
review 2: I loved this book. Its message is important. It is a manifesto, and it reads like one, although without the sensationalism that might typically accompany a manifesto, and that might typically distract from the main point, or cheapen it. Clean and neat and to the point here.
... moreA quick read at 84 pages, and picked up at my local library, the book didn't seem like too much goodness until I finished half of it and then got up to go about my day. Faced with professional choices, faced with a "this or that" option, the book immediately pinged me to take the less customary, less parochial, but what I judged to be the more successful and smart route before me. The book gets you like that.I dog-eared countless pages to go back and copy down some quotes afterwards before I return the book to the library. Go read this book. At 84 pages, you've got no reason to not check it out. less
