review 1: Loved! At one point I thought I wouldn't like Lia but she ended up being ok. Evan was still funny to me. His sense of humor was awesome to me. This was a little more dark with Evan being stuck in his head and trying to find his way out of the mess he found himself in. I also lived his appreciation for the City of Chicago, I feel the same exact way being a transplant. I understood how Keith Davies came into the mix with his brother Kyle but I thought it over reached a bit. I don't see why Kyle would blame Evan for his own brother's disloyalty. Everything worked out for Evan in the end however I think Kyle ' s appearance could have been something else than the background he came with.
review 2: Great mob/hit man story! Aiden was hot and sexy. I fell I love wi... moreth him from the start of the first book. He was a true bada$$. I felt really sorry for him as he tried to deal with his PTSD. The writer did an excellent job of providing the reader with the insights to Aiden’s nightmares. And his love for Lia was just so powerful. The love he had for her was the only thing that kept him going. All of his special quirks really just added ever more character to him. His ability to read body languages, his love for Ordin, his love for bullets (was like women love of shoes) and his killing skills. He was just so HOT! I would so love to read more about Aiden, Lia, and Riccardo. I still have a few questions that I want answered. I hope Ms. Shay decides to write a 3.5 just to close-out some of my questions. less
