review 1: Actually it was nice story, i couldn't put it down once i start, and i love adventure-survival theme in this story. BUT most of the time i just pissed with the Hero, Bastian, not because he's act like a jerk, but because his low self-esteem, it's getting on my nerve. AND also the ending not really happy like what I'm hoping for. Not quite cliffhanger but still it didn't satisfied me.So, 3 and 3,5 star.
review 2: I have sooo many mixed feeling for this book. I have no idea where to start. First of all , I absolutely love Bastian, he is so protective, passionate, loyal, down to earth, but he just got lost in the path and it leads him to a whole other world that Raine has no idea it exists. He has had such a difficult life and he thinks no one could love him, that
... more in every single soul in the world none of them are his true love. So he just lives with that idea, resignation. Raine on the other hand, she is just innocent, she has no idea the death of her father is related to the capitan of the boat. She is just trying to move along and built a better life for her self...until him. When they get stucked eith each other true personalities start to show, his insecurities, his dark secrets, her feeling about the lost of the only parent she had.The things they got to live in the boat together made them know that there is more than meets the eye and suddenly all thise secrets and feeling turn into so much more. Absolutely amazing!!! less
