review 1: A thoroughly boring book. I think it's the way the author writes in this book which makes you feel like nothing is going on. And really, nothing goes on in the book until the second to last chapter, in which the 3 princess friends go harrying off to get back a snotty princess that none of them like, b/c that princess is supposed to be the "popular" princess. It is a ridiculous book. There's no reason for them to go harrying off to begin with. Anyway, the only thing that's interesting that happens is *SPOILER* the prince is not really the prince, but someone else who's not described so hot. Not that that's any reason to dislike him, but I don't think it all was set up right. The book falls sadly flat and feels too preachy to be good. FAIL.
review 2: This
... more book should probably get 3 stars because it's silly, fluffy, and sweet. However, that's exactly what I was in the mood for. Basically this book is about teenage girls squealing about boys and learning about royal court politics (in diluted form) for the first time. I felt the plot ran away a bit at the end, but since I was specifically looking for a light fantasy romance when I picked this up, I enjoyed it quite a bit. less

This was a fun, easy read. Predictable, but enjoyable.
