review 1: This was a bit of a disappointment after the first book in some ways...The relationship between Elise and James seemed to have been changed dramatically just to suit the fact that Elise wanted to go off and fight evil by herself in this book! Also she seemed content to let Anthony trail around after her even though he had no supernatural abilities! Betty dying was a bit of a surprise because she was just starting to become a little bit likeable. I liked the idea of there being a rogue Kopis and Aspis going up against Elise and James but the whole thing felt a bit disjointed. Also all the stuff at the end with the angels and HIM whoever HIM is supposed to be was a bit rushed confusing. I quite liked the Night Hag and David Nicholas in this book though. Also as before the fi... moreght scenes are violent which adds an air of believability to the whole set up. Also I think the one moment that possibly redeemed this volume for me was when Elise asked James why she wasn't enough. One moment of vulnerability made her seem more likeable despite behaving so out of character from the first book. Also someone either needs to explain everything to Stephanie or just slap her!!
review 2: Wow ....The mystery of Elise just keeps getting better and better....Totally loved the twist which Thom gave....I CAN't BELIEVE IT......NOW THOM WANTS ELISE just after she escaped from Him......can't wait to read the next book and find out about Elise's past......as if demons from another dimension isn't enough crazier stuff like Mad Angels is even more scarier ......this book keeps us wanting more...... less
