review 1: Princess of Thorns is a retelling of Sleeping Beauty. Really. The book has nothing to do with the original sleeping beauty. The story is of her daughter who must regain the throne from soul sucking ogres and stop an evil plot. In other words it's a tale of what could happen at the end of Ever After. In addition there is Niklaas. His story comes from the Wild Swans but instead of knit jackets breaking the curse he must marry a princess in order to stop turning into a swan like his brothers. Give me only one story that stays true to retelling and I'll show more appreciation.
