review 1: This book was actually recommended to me as part of a good series while attending a release party for another book. I am really glad it was! I enjoyed the characters as well as the story. Stacey Rourke did a great job creating the short but informative history of the gryphon, as well as how that background related to the current day characters. This is a well written book, that includes fantasy and romance at a level acceptable for young readers as well as enjoyable for adults.
review 2: I really enjoyed this! The characters are sarcastic, funny, determined and simply lovable. There's adventure, tension, romance, fight scenes and all those other wonderful things to keep me turning from one page to the next. Honestly, I even bought a copy of this series for my n... moreiece.Now, this isn't a story with tons of depth and meaning (although I'm not saying there isn't any at all), but it was simply one of those easy to read and dive into fantasies, something to read for pure enjoyment and entertainment. less
