review 1: Somehow I managed to read this last book out of order from the series, but nothing was lost in the process. Each story in the series does stand alone without too much dependency on the others, although the stories do intertwine in a delicious way. A classic story, it reminded me of the old (in the 60s)Here Comes the Brides tv series set in Seattle back in the 1860s. Based on the true story of the Mercer Girls, those eligible women brought by Asa Mercer to early Seattle for its eager bachelors, women of my generation remember a young Bobby Sherman and David Soul. The brothers painted by Bond in this series are much hunkier I think, or I have grown up at last.
review 2: As the oldest of the three Armstrong brothers, Marcus had a lot of pressure from not only his
... morefamily, but the town of Sweetness, Georgia. 10 years prior a F-5 tornado leveled the town and the Armstrong brothers made a promise to their mom that they would rebuild so she could move back. This book is the last of the triology, with the two other brothers paired. Alicia Randall goes undercover to see if the brothers are doing something illegal. She writes a blog for a feminist magazine which reports what happens in Sweetness. Sparks fly between Marcus and Alicia, butnot all is good between them. Fast read. Enjoyed the jousting between the two main characters. less

Ok, nice ending to the trilogy, had hoped to go out on a bang but went out on a fizzle.

This was the third book in the trilogy. It was a fast read for me and I did enjoy it.
