review 1: An ok book by Laurens. She focused more on adventure than characters falling in love and subsequent sex scenes in this novel. The adventurous twists weren't all that unexpected as the investigators had decided from the beginning that it was one of 5 men who could have committed the murders. Having read a number of her novels I find her approach rather formulaic. I had the tendency to skip pages which I don't ever usually do. So, if you have not read a Laurens you might find it entertaining otherwise bypass this one.
review 2: I adored Stephanie's Cynster family series. And when I saw this one I thought what the heck! I loved it!!! I loved the fact that Penelope is in the book and is related to the Cynster family. I loved the fact that this was a good murder mys... moretery. I liked all the different characters that come together to solve this big mystery. I also found myself feeling awful for the characters that died because they were wonderful characters and it makes the reader feel for them and want the main characters to find out who the nasty SOB is that did it! I can see Stephanie moving into the mystery genre. I thought she did a wonderful job. less
