Logan McRae
review 1: Love the Logan McRae books and all the inept characters who reside therein. Love the ringtones (DS Rennie - "If I only had a brain"). Love the way they all have overlapping conversations with each other but never listen to what the other is saying. Love the way Logan keeps getting into trouble when he's just trying to do the right thing and there's nothing he can do about it. Love the way he always gets there in the end. Please keep them coming :)
review 2: I normally rate the Logan McRae books higher than this. It was a good story, dark and gritty like the others and I continue to love the DI Steel character - too funny for words (I can so picture her). Some good twist to keep you guessing...all good stuff. What let this book down for me was the almost Keyston
... moree Cops-like depiction of the police force as a whole. A little bit of ineptitude can be quite funny but I think it went too far this time to be remotely plausible. less
