review 1: I'm reading this entire series and I do love the characters and the setting. However...3 stars for this one because of technical errors. Lots of them. Maggie's eyes are blue, then brown, then blue. One car is a Renault, then a Peugeot, then a Renault. Another car is a black, then silver-blue, then black again Mercedes. The dog...Otto...is mentioned as **(dog's name)** more than once. It's like the book wasn't through the editing process before it hit the kindle edition. Seriously, disappointing.
review 2: I entered to win this book on Goodreads, however I did not win it, but the author provided me with a copy and I must say that was a very shrewd move as now I am hooked on the characters and will purchase all books by this author. This is one of the best cozy
... moremysteries I have read in a while. It has suspense and I did not have a clue who was the murderer until the author revealed it. I usually figure it out in the beginning but this plot is full of twists and keeps you guessing until the end. I loved Maggie and feel I know her and the descriptions of France makes you feel you are there and it is as if I can smell the lavender, the foods and it feels as if you are in the middle of a great story unfolding. I highly recommend this book and any book by this author. less
