review 1: I am so glad I read this as one book instead of three because the wait would have killed me. I am waiting now for book four (soon, soon - breathe) and it's killing me. I don't even want to think about it. Gideon, honey, I see you in my dreams you Alpha money bags man! I know you're holding back on me with your power and dominance. You are a more realistic Christian Gray, and so much more dark and dangerous (Yum!). The things you do in the bedroom are frankly unbelievable but I sure do enjoy reading it! Eva, girl you got it going on! You're hot, your badass, you don't put up with Gideon's crap and you sister talk damn dirty sometimes. I want to be you! Read this one, or er...these three. I cannot say that I'm happy about the ending but that's only because it left... more me unsatisfied, in complete want and anticipation for the next book. The story rocks, it's hot - full of mystery, drama, steam and real awesomely developed characters.
review 2: I liked this set well enough, it kind of sucks that it's a boxed set, because it's obvious there are still more books to come.The Crossfire series is about two individuals that are attracted to each other like magnets, but they both have SEVERE personal issues, like "holy s**t, how are they still functioning" type of issues. Over time though they start facing those issues together and their bond grows and they start to find a semblance of peace. less
