review 1: There is a lot of action going on in this book. The characters character is being revealed more and we are learning why Clara is so special.With this 2nd book the series is getting better and more interesting.You are drawn into it and you forget the world you live in. The differences in language, (using archaic dialogue with occasional modern slang - which is explained). It must have been difficult doing that.It is fantasy at it's best. And here again I will add "If you like a fast paced, action packed, fantasy you can believe story" you will enjoy The Savage Series
