review 1: I am somehow not shocked that parallel universes have come to play in this series. This has got to be one of the most interesting series I have ever read. Caleb grew which was really needed. A lot more of the hidden plot twist were uncovered which made things even more mind blowing, and the emotional level and investment for me as a reader was high. So far I have given every one of the books 5 stars. This is a first for me. Seriously. I can usually find something to knock a star off.
review 2: Caleb and the gang are all back and the excitement is non-stop. Caleb is on trial for murder by Zombie. Jade is turned over to an unsavory family for foster care and there seems to be something sinister laying just under the surface. An unexpected alliance is offered
... more to Caleb by Parker…and Parker hints that the dimensional jumper (Randi) might know where Caleb needs to go to figure out the key to defeating the Greysheets. In attempting to save his own world, Caleb and friends are caught in a battle (war of sorts) when they jump into the other dimension. You’d think that was enough... but then Caleb and the gang return from the dimensional jump that's when things seem to go from bad to worse. I think Caleb says it best when he says, “The probation was not expired, I was living with Gramps, Garcia was a pawn on the chessboard for the Graysheets, Gale and Clyde faced prejudice at every turn and Brett was a complication that got bigger every day. Hell it loomed." Yes, the Greysheets were really coming out to play now… Caleb’s friends and loved ones are coming up marked with a star scar, slowly drugging them into insanity. He must find the cure in time and save his friends.Caution! This book is going to blow your flip flops off! Pretty much non-stop action, emotional rollercoaster, great romantic tension, fantastic character interaction, super alpha males, awesomely strong females and the ever fabulous witty repartee we’ve come to love. I love the transition between the way the language is adjusted to accommodate the different dimensions locale. To top it off, many secrets about the Greysheet and the paranormal abilities are revealed! I have to admit I didn’t want to put this book down. I definitely found another favorite and I know this is now my new favorite in this series! Awesome job Tamara Rose Blodgett you even had me yelling at my kindle! less
