review 1: This easy reader is a nice little story about a boy named buzz and his pet fly name fly guy. During this game fly guy accidentally gets taken to the dump because he was hiding in the trash can when the trash got picked up. Buzz is distraught and he get his dad to drive to the dump to find fly guy. The flow of this story is good and this story has a nice climax and finish. Recommended age 4-7Reading Level 2nd grade
review 2: This is a good book for introducing the concept of chapters to young children. It’s a sweet story about the friendship between Buzz and his fly friend, Fly Guy. In this story they play an innocent game of Hide and Go Seek but Buzz worries when Fly Guy gets carried to the local trash dump. To save his fly friend, Buzz has his father dri... moreve him to the dump to find Fly Guy. He searches but finds tons more flies and feels hopeless. The illustrations in this book were amazing and simple, with very unique bug-eyed characters. The text was also very simple for young readers with its short sentences of controlled vocabulary. This book would be great to incorporate in a younger elementary classroom when teaching how to write sentences. It provides great examples of writing sentences with a fun and adventurous story to audiences! less
