review 1: This book is about a young boy and his pet fly. The boy ends up having a crazy dream about his fly bringing to life a huge Frankenfly. The boy finally wakes up realizing it was just a dream. He finds Fly Guy asleep on the desk with a drawing of a Frankenfly he had made for the boy. This book is great for around third grade, it is a beginner level chapter book with pictures. I think the illustrations are fun and perfect for young readers. Tedd Arnold create images that are relate-able for young readers, the illustrations are cartoon like and colorful. This would be a fun book to have for the students during the Halloween season. The book can be read out loud or just for an individual during independent reading. There is a series of Fly Guy books I plan to buy for my classr... moreoom. They are great for boys and always have a funny story to read about.

I love that the series is friendly, silly, clean, and a confidence builder for kids who are just starting to read on their own.
