review 1: I don't really do reviews, and I can't remember the last time I gave some thing five stars. Yes, it's that good. The characters were believable, in unbelievable situations. The heroine was someone who was just like us. She makes good, bad, and questionable choices. She is just trying to figure it all out. All the while trying to protect the people she loves. This cast of characters will keep you on toes and laughing out loud.
review 2: This book was more action packed than the other 'food' one--Bake, Battle, and Roll. Rose, the main character, is a waitress who seems to be less successful than her sister Jacqueline, whom she annoyingly calls Jacks. Rose's good friend disappears, and she fears that he has met with foul play. The diner owner very nicely gives
... more her time off and other breaks. Her mother has a stick up her rear, but her father seems okay. All Rose's possessions get trashed, and she faces some physical harm as well. It wouldn't be bad to have a good friend like Rose. less

I love this series. If you like Janet Evanovich, you'll love Terri Austin.
