review 1: This is not bad. It's well written and easy to read. The story is interesting with various good threads, although at times it did go into 'fact' mode, explaining in detail some facts that the author has obviously researched and needs to show that they have. There are various twists, which work well and the ending is ok, if not great. Although this is in the middle of a series it read fine independently, I didn't feel I was missing anything from not reading the preceding books. I thought the characters were ok, but nothing special. Overall this was a good read and I would recommend it, particularly to a murder/thriller fan.

Os panos que a enfaixavam indicavam ter uma idade... more aproximada de 2 mil anos, mas o raio-x revelou que o corpo sob estes panos era afinal uma mulher que foi assassinada há 25 anos! Intrigante!Como é que o museu só deu pela existência desta múmia? Como apareceu? Encontram a segunda múmia com um processo de mumificação diferente da anterior que também foi assassinada e a terceira múmia, outra vitima de homicidio, com o processo de mumificação ainda mais horripilante...Como é que a Jane Rizzoli vai desvendar estes crimes?Mais um livro de Tess Gerritsen muito bom que me levou a devorar, sem dar pelo tempo, sedento por saber o final. Fiz deduções e mais uma vez fui surpreendido! O encaixar das peças e as reviravoltas são o melhor da Tess Gerritsen, para além da sua escrita que é sempre fluente, nítida e acessível a qualquer leitor! less
