review 1: While the arranged marriage plot was a bit on the contrived side, I found the story so entertaining, I could get past it and roll with it. This was such a fun, light, refreshing read. It's the first I've picked up in the series, but I may just go back and read the others. The characters are a little stereotypically "caricature-ish" (especially Hayden's mom and Stuart), and in some cases one-dimensional, but hey, they served their purpose. There were some really funny moments that, while cliched, had me laughing out loud regardless. Brent was pretty swoon-worthy and the sex was incredibly steamy and inventive. The dialogue was witty and fun to read.
review 2: Adoro los libros de esta autora, su pasión, las historias de fondo de cada personaje y el amor que surg... moree entre ellos. Me gustaron mucho las puñaladas verbales que se regalaban Hayden y Brent desde el principio y, ya se sabe, del amor al odio hay sólo un paso, así que su relación se avecinaba como algo histórico. Y lo fue. Odié la idea de Hayden casada con ese pijo redomado y a su madre haciendo lo que fuera para no perder su status social, porque no era más que eso: egoísmo, nada que ver con ver a su marido con sus sueños rotos. Lo mejor? Story y su modo de conseguir más tiempo en el juzgado. Sencillamente épico! less
