review 1: Julie is a Southern belle who is always trying to be perfect. She comes from old money and helps run her family's Whiskey business. Reed is a SWAT team leader tattooed bad boy with a dark past. They both meet at a friends wedding and there is electricity.Julie is a great heroine and I really connected with her worrying about being perfect and doing something wrong. I loved how Julie let herself be wild and let herself go with Reed. Not letting her fear of being perfect get in the way. Reed was amazing. He may have trouble expressing himself in words but every gesture says it all. I can understand why Reed has trust issues and commitment issues after his past. Reed wanting to get close to Julie but not really have the confidence to do it was very well written. Both these tw... moreo have a lot of pain in their pasts. Reed more then Julie. His past just makes you want to scream and be angry on his behalf.The Hot Springs Scene=Holy Hotness. One of my favorite scenes was when Reed was thinking of her and taking care of her after this party. It was so sweet. Their relationship was so hot I was worried my kindle was going to go up in flames. I found it wonderful and it really showed the talent of these authors keeping these books flowing so well together. I loved that epilogue. Is every epilogue in this series going to be swoon worthy perfection. I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for a fun sexy read. review 2: I loved this book! Instant connection and heat between Reed and Julie. Reed is a hard ass who doesn't do relationships, rarely sleeps with a female more than once and very blunt, especially about sex. Julie is a proper southern girl who is taken aback by his sexual bluntness ("I will service you so hard you'll be booking another week here just to recover"), yet he draws her in.For once, Julie wants to be selfish and have sex just to have sex so she can just go back to trying to be perfect and making everyone else around her happy. Reed is upfront about his stance - he doesn't do pretty, he just f*cks. But the more time they spend together, things start to change. This book will have you laughing and crying and wanting to smack Reed as much as Julie does! The ending is perfect! I was not disappointed at all!I really enjoyed the scavenger hunt and when Julie's best friend says: "Oh no, the Regan help line is hanging up now. You're on your own"This book is a standalone, but there are other books focused on other couples of the wedding party during the same time period. I definitely want to read the others and have put them in my wishlist. I really like how this author writes and am looking forward to reading more from her. less
