review 1: Things have been pretty stressful around Cuelebre Tower with the Sentinel games, the marriage of Dragos and Pia and, of course, the birth of Liam, aka Peanut, just to name a few things. Dragos has been giving all of his people some much needed and deserved time off, but like most of the people in charge there is one person he has forgotten – himself. Pia has decided that they also need some time away and a family vacation is just the thing, but she will have to be very crafty.Dragos is tempted by treasure and decides to take the family to Bermuda so that he can get in a bit of treasure hunting. Of course, Pia is fully behind this decision and ready to go, with her guards in tow. Even Peanut seems to be excited about visiting a new place. What seems like a great vac... moreation with some family time and some treasure hunting time quickly turns when some modern day pirates learn about Dragos’ hunt for a sunken ship and are just as determined to make sure they get anything that is located. Even more stressful is that Peanut reveals some new powers in such a way that just might turn both Dragos and Pia gray before their time. He also discovers one major aspect of being a dragon. Pia and Dragos are not going to let anything get in the way of their vacation, especially not some lame pirates and Dragos knows just how to take care of business and keep his family safe.Pia, Dragos and Peanut go on a simple family vacation and a treasure hunting adventure which quickly turns in to a greater adventure than anyone expected in Dragos Takes a Holiday. I was so excited when I heard about this book months before it came out and was more than ready to see just how anyone convinced Dragos to take time off. I loved how crafty Pia was in getting what she most wanted – time away for everyone. She really knows her husband well. I also loved watching a Liam, aka Peanut, discovered new horizons and powers. I can already tell that his life is going to be one big adventure; I just hope that Pia and Dragos are ready for this. Watching as the vacation almost turned into a tragedy had me hoping that luck was still shinning on them all. Watching as Dragos showed those who endangered his family just why it was such a bad idea, had me cheering for protective dragons and I know that if Pia could have figured out how to sprout wings and fly, I’m pretty sure she might have found a way to put on a bit of hurt herself.Dragos Takes a Holiday is a book that brings a smile from the first page until the last with just a touch of suspense to keep it from being too sugary. I have truly fallen in love with Pia, Dragos and Liam and I don’t ever want to fall out of it. If you have been following the journey that Pia and Dragos have been taking as they discovered love and now have added to their family, then you will not want to miss this unique family vacation. I have already read this book twice and discovered a couple of minor things I missed the first time. Dragos Takes a Holiday is an absolute must read and yes, to me, it’s also a Joyfully Recommended book that I know will be opened up again and again. review 2: Eine kurzweilige Geschichte über eine Schatzsuche im Bermudadreieck.
