review 1: The "Prince of Dorkness" will have you laughing. Start your new year with a book by Tim Collins entitled "Prince of Dorkness more notes from a totally lame vampire." It is the best new novel since "Notes from a totally lame vampire because the undead have feelings too!" I believe you will enjoy it too. Collins novel is about love, vampires, and werewolves. The story begins with Nigel final having everything he's always wanted like, having his full vampire powers, and a girlfriend. But not everything can stay the same always. Soon Chloe, Nigel's girlfriend starts to become obsessed with wanting to become a vampire, and the new student Jason and Nigel start butting heads. The plot thickens when Chloe forces Nigel to transform her but fails and breaks up with... more Nigel. Nigel, now single, focuses on trying to beat Jason in cross-country, but soon realizes that he has lost his vampire powers again. Now back to his lame old non-vampire powerless self is determined to figure out Jason's secret and get his dear sweet love Chloe back and his vampire powers back to. Will Nigel be able to find out Jason's secret? Will he get Chloe back? Will he be able to get his vampire powers back? Well find out by reading this book.I really enjoyed reading this book. While the plot is rather funny and predictable. Three reasons why you should read this book are....1.) It is a hilarious book.2.) It's filled with a story of true love.3.) Their are werewolves and vampires.I recommend ages 12 and up should read this book.
review 2: Nigel Mullet was living the sweet life of a fully-empowered teen vampire – until he lost his girlfriend, Chloe. They had a difference of opinion on whether to turn her or not (he thought not, she thought WHY not?). Suddenly his strength, speed, charisma, and good looks disappeared over night. Meanwhile, Chloe started dating a real clod (in Nigel’s opinion). Unfortunately for her, he was a werewolf, and she accidentally caught the werewolf bug and became supernatural herself. Although she and Nigel are supposed to be mortal enemies (werewolves and vampires have a long-standing feud), they actually get along much better now that they’re no longer dating. But when Nigel’s family discovers they are living among a pack of werewolves, they decide to move to Scotland. What will be in store for Nigel?Nigel’s journal is pretty entertaining, even though it’s definitely self-indulgent. I didn’t find this sequel (to “Notes from a Totally Lame Vampire) quite as funny as the first book, but I think fans will still enjoy it. Not really sure how the emotional lives of vampires in this “world” work – both Nigel and his little sister seem to be trapped at the age/emotional maturity they were when they were changed. Do they ever grow up? Are they not capable of it? less

Really funny, I sense some Twilight parody here. But I like the originality!

This was a cute book. I do want to read more by this author.

Very great but it's kind of like Diary of a Wimpy Kid.
