review 1: SYNOPSIS:In "Vampire Breed" (Series One - Book 4), Kiera awakens to find herself imprisoned. Experiencing horrific nightmares and visions, she slowly realises that she has been subjected to a series of sinister tests and operations. Now addicted to blood, and in pain, Kiera knows that if she is to survive, she will need to escape from her caged cell. More questions arise: Who is the secretive werewolf visiting her at night – and can she trust him? Where are her friends and why hasn’t Potter come to her rescue, as he promised? With no word from either Luke or Potter, she fears they both might be dead. With only a chair and a book to comfort her in her cage, can Kiera escape? Even if she does, what will she find on the other side of her prison walls?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~... more~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~MY REVIEW:It's official! I have become addicted to this series. "Vampire Breed" was every bit as good as the others if not better. With Kiera locked up and still not sure who among her team is the traitor I was on edge. I was stressed out wondering whether or not Kiera and her team would be safe; stressed out wondering who in the world was behind all of this and just stressed out period (but in a good way). This was truly an exhilarating and very good read.Tim O'Rourke is a magical writer. With each book we are introduced to new characters, but he does it in such a way that will not take away from the main and secondary characters we have grown to love AND hate. Sometimes too many characters can be a huge distraction, but Tim executes this task effortlessly.
