review 1: I read a couple of books on that topic and this one is by far the best one. This is for several reasons:This book is relatively short and while the author argues that this is because of the nature of the topic, I think the book speaks better to me because it cuts out all the filling material, that self-help books are typically bloated with. This book also showed me much better than any other book why I procrastinate, which in turn makes me better understand how I can beat that problem. The scientific background of the author helps with his credibility, which in my case is often times quite an important factor. The third reason why this book is great is, that it comes with a huge resource of information in form of a webpage, an article series in "Psychology Today" and a wonde... morerful podcast ("iprocrastinate podcast"). These resources are for free for everyone and the book can be seen as a relatively short introduction or a basis for the free material. The only thing I did not like was the cartoon in the book (as several times mentioned by other reviewers), but I can see the caricature of typical procrastination situations and can therefor oversee the bad drawings (and the power-lesbian, who's supposed to be the "good" counterpart of the stupid man).
review 2: This book is very insightful about tackling the procrastination issue. However, I found it dry and the 'comic' strips quite annoying. I had forgotten about his podcast until I read about it in a review. I think the author is very insightful and that if you are willing to plug through this book, you will be rewarded with some interesting perspectives on procrastination. Just don't expect a thrilling read. less

There are some great ideas in here, but don't expect it to be exciting or entertaining.
