review 1: *3.5 stars*I enjoyed this book, but I just couldn't it rate it above 3.5 stars. Fallon absolutely annoyed me with her words and actions. In my opinion, some of the reactions she had were inappropriate, especially when she finds out about something at the end. And the fact that she didn't tell Lucas about his son for years? And she became jealous because she thought her son would like his dad more than his mom? I just couldn't forgive her for anything she did. I was just waiting for Lucas to give up and leave. I liked Lucas and Aiden, it was just Fallon who made me not enjoy this more than I wanted to.
review 2: Trying to score gives us the story of Fallon Parker & Lucas Brooks. And boy is this a up and down emotional ride. Fallon and Lucas met years ago when th... moreere were younger. But because of certin mishaps, it was broken off and they went separate ways. Years later after Lucas is traded to the assassins, he sees fallon again. He never stoped loving her. But he's in for a surprise when he finds out fallon had a son, his son. And for seven years never told him. Wanting nothing more than to get to know Aiden, Lucas decides to do whatever he can to have his son in his life, and to get fallon back. I think Lucas is the guy every girl wants to marry! I mean swoon. Sexy, tattooed, alpha male. Who becomes a great dad. And fallon I was kinda hot and cold with her. At first she kinda drove me nuts, but by the end of the book, I just wanted to grab her and hug her. Lucas & Fallon's book is a true second chance at love story. less
