review 1: I spent the whole weekend AND the beginning of the week with Aleo's "Assassins" series. Every book met my five-star-rating. I connected with the story, felt the character's emotion and couldn't put the book away. I devoured every page. Normally I'm getting confused with stories written in third-person narratives. Most of the time I think it's the wrong choice of narration method for a contemporary love story. It is easier to connect with the story and feel the characters's emotion when the story is written in first-person narrative but Aleo's writing style is good and vivid enough to accomplish that. I laughed out loud, teared up and cried. I loved that Elli and Shea don't rush in their relationship and have to build trust first. I can totally relate with the story and re... moreally loved how Aleo handles the insecurities about weight gain and weight loss. I hope, I will find my Shea Adler ;-)
review 2: This book was written incredibly well. I loved every aspect of the book. It was funny, romantic, realistic, and angst filled. I could not put the book down and am now a very sleepy blogger and mother but it was worth every minute. I really felt like I knew all the characters and feel like they are a part of my life now. I just want to go back and read it again. The saddest part was when it ended.
