review 1: In previous installments of the Destiny series, Sue Ann & Jeff had what seemed to be the perfect marriage. Now Jeff has fallen in love with another woman and their seemingly perfect marriage is over. Now Sue Ann has to deal with seeing the happy couple everywhere and still try to give her little girl a good Christmas.She has one night with Adam in a rental cabin and learns that he's not quite the perfect man she always thought he was either. But now she can't forget about him. Nor can he forget about her. And he's been a downright Scrooge since his children have been with their grandparents over the holidays. If he doesn't change his attitude, he won't have any friends left.I really liked how these two overcame their failed marriages and worked toward building a new ... morefuture.
review 2: There was something missing in comparison with the previous books in the series. Both main characters are very nice people, always behaving like perfect dolls, except both felt their life was unraveling and indeed in most of the book I got annoyed at both of them making mountains out of molehills. They probably have well found each other and will be the most boring, always perfect and well behaved couple in the town. And I would have liked it better if the divorce, sharing custody of his kids, did not hook up with another divorcee with a kid. Nice and sweet but not the author's best. less
