review 1: This was a great read! The setting was rather unique, I have never read a book in which all the main characters are robots. It was interesting to read about how they thought and what they fought over or about. There was certainly enough going on to keep me interested all the way through, and I had a hard time putting the book down the closer I got to finishing. I am also a fan of books that weave the lives of various different characters together, so having the chapters based on one character and then the next chapter focused on a different character was a style I can appreciate. Reminded me of reading the Saga of the Seven Suns, which is my all time favorite Sci Fi series. All in all a great read and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys Sci Fi books.
review 2:... more> well that was definatley a book well worth the price. robots fighting for martial and philosophical dominance of thier planet. i thought the way new robots were created was well thought out and even the way they created the bodyshell was interesting. its more of a journey of the mind and less standard "robot war" type faire. still cracking though. when my local waterstones actually has the next one in stock i will definatley buy it less
