review 1: I enjoyed this book as much as the others. Love....intrigue...historical drama all rolled into one. Tracey Devlyn is a new author for me but one I have come to appreciate. She sets the scenes...gives just the right amount of detail so you are not bored...and makes you thoroughly enjoy the characters. Catching up with past main characters is appreciated but the way it compliments the story is highly desired. This series is my recent historical favorite..
review 2: A Lady's Secret Weapon really wasn't what I was expecting, it was better. A Lady's Secret Weapon is like a spy thriller in a historical romance novel. The book is book 3 in her Nexus series but it can be read individually from the other books. Sydney and Ethan are fabulous together, both have egos an
... mored a fire together that match their personalities perfectly. The plot and excitement Tracey brings to her book gives it more of a thriller feel than a historical feel but it doesn't take away at all from how well she developed London's underworld. A spy and an informant join sides in a struggle to solve a mystery. A fun and exciting read from the first page to the last, Tracey Devlyn is fabulous. less
