review 1: Much like the first in this "trilogy", this book is often and uncomfortable. The characters are relatable in their weaknesses but it's so easy to hate them for them. Because the author seems to be evading the question so many have as to when the third book is actually coming it makes me lose interest and faith in her. However, if she ever does conclude this story I will read it along with all the other fans. This story is certainly captivating and exciting.
review 2: This book was so amazing and more. It's so hard to describe it in a review because of how much actually goes on. This is a very dark fantasy novel but almost bridges over into "reality" YA. The reason I say this is because it is all SO believable, the magic, the world, EVERYTHING! I felt like I liv... moreed in the cliffs with Hahp and Sadima and the whole premise is absolutely amazing. I know you're probably thinking, "Oh, another 5 star review, how useless..." But TRUST ME, this book is pure gold and you WILL get hooked from the start! less
