review 1: I really enjoyed getting to meet the characters of Cactus Creek. When Luke moves to the small town to open up his chocolate business love is the furthest thing from his mind. Until he meets the owner of the local brew pub Dani. He feels a connection with her and soon try's to figure out why she is so anti-love. When they find themselves in a steamy situation a battle ensues as they wager a little friendly competition between the two companies.. In a case of Chocolate vs. Beer who will reign supreme as the leader in the romance department. Seems simple enough right? Wrong!! I loved the interaction between the character's and it is always a great thing when you get the feel of the town and it's people. There is just the right mix of romance and feisty-ness to keep you intrig... moreued and wanting more. The story line gave me a different take on ways we can show our love to those who crave it. Can Luke convince Dani that love and romance is out there? Will Dani be consumed forever by the Dobson curse, or will she finally learn to let love in? I am looking forward to learning more about this small town with big hearts, some of which have been stomped on along the way. If you like a great story, with memorable characters this one is for you..
review 2: This was a fun romantic story. The battle between Chocolate and Beer to see which is better for romance. Luke and Dani were great leads in this story. I loved Dani's attitude and spunk, and I loved how Luke didn't let her just push him away. Their feisty battle was a perfect match to their budding romance. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series. These characters are just wonderful. less

Cute story. I thought it was fun, but a bit too dramatic for my tastes. A fun read :)
