review 1: I would love to use this book as a read aloud picture book for older readers. The illustrations in this book are fantastic, and the storyline is amazing as well. It really shows children about the main characters love for reading and love for books. It also shows about leaving a legacy behind when you die. I think that children would enjoy the uniqueness of this book, as well as protecting inferring what could possibly happen next.
review 2: Interesting style of illustrations and written with a tone that resonates and has a feel about it like a walk back in time. I love that a little is left to the imagination with this story. This book illustrates, in a way that I have never seen a book do so before, the magic that being near or surrounded by books really i... mores... because anyone who knows anything knows that books are not just bindings with pages inside them. less
