review 1: 'Miss Polly had a Dolly' is a thriller that sucked me in from the beginning. The storyline was incredibly dramatic and thrilling. I really liked it. The way the story played out had some unexpected twists. The characters were a great cast of personalities. Emma, once again, played an awesome lead. I could not put this book down. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. I love the writing style that Willow Rose uses to bring her books to life. A definite add to your tbr list. Recommended.
review 2: Emma Frost is at it again, ending up in the middle of horrible and unsettling goings on in her small community on the island of Fanoe in Denmark. As in her first book, Ms. Rose jumps back and forth in time telling the tale from the eyes of the innocen
... morets and Emma. The book centers on a small girl, abducted at six, sold into prostitution in a foreign country and her quest to seek revenge on those she believes betrayed her. At the same time a talent seeking TV show comes to town with an outlandish host who brings his young fans to a frenzy. Gruesome murders are also taking place, and there is no surprise in who is committing the murders, the mystery is when and how will he be caught and will Emma's family be affected by these evil doings. These books will keep you turning the pages, but they really are not for the faint of heart. less
