review 1: I gave the first book in the series a three star rating because of the point where it cut off, and that is also the reason I am giving this second installment four stars. I absolutely love the characters and the plot is so interesting but I just can't deal with the lack of planning in where the books cut off. I honestly just wish this series were published as a single humongous book and then it would probably get 5 stars.

This book continues the journey of Tristan in his quest to become king. He battles new evil creatures, gets trapped in dreams and stabbed in the back multiple times, both figuratively and literally.
